About Region H
The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) is a non-profit organization that empowers women to aspire to an engineering career, advance within the field, and achieve to their highest potential.
SWE is divided into ten geographic regions, lettered A through J. Region H, the “Heartland” region, includes most of the Midwest. You’re from Region H if your section is located in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, or South Dakota. To see an interactive Google map of the sections in Region H, click here!
Region H is the largest region in SWE, with over 2,500 members! There are 14 professional sections and 48 collegiate sections.
This blog was created to help connect the members of Region H, so that we can share news, events, and advice. It’s maintained by your Region Collegiate Communications Editor (RCCE), but anyone can submit content! Photos, videos, cool events, ideas to share–!
- Want to see who else is in your region? Check out the Sections page.
- Have questions on anything SWE-related? Ask your Region Collegiate Team.
