Why did you apply for Region H Lieutenant Governor?
I applied for Lt Governor because after re-engaging
with SWE leadership and participating with the Region Council, I wanted an opportunity to work with the collegiate team and help provide guidance and mentoring to the RCT.
What does SWE mean to you?
SWE has been an important part of my life. When I was just starting out in my career at Caterpillar, I was the only technical woman in my group. My SWE friends were my lifeline in providing support and encouragement to continue in my career. I have had the chance to meet some wonderful women through my SWE Network and to reconnect with them at the Society conference is always energizing. SWE has helped me get to where I am today in my career and I don’t what I would have done without my SWE network.
